Spring used to be my favourite season of the year because of the wonderous explosion of colours, but over time, the lines blur. Autumn brings about its own set of colours, and it's gorgeous, as long as it's not going to be me clearing up the leaves after.
We were practically alone in the entire park in the morning with the kids. The air was a cool 8 degrees celcius and it was calm, other than for the piercing screams of happiness as the little ones assault the moist playground equipment. The morning sunlight illuminated the foliage across the pond as if to say 'hey, look here'.
There it was; the fusion of peace, calmness and beauty.
